“Super idol (星动亚洲)” Season 1 - Idol Talent Competition
From July 2015 to September 2015, Hua Chenyu starred in the Chinese-Korean idol talent competition “Super Idol (星动亚洲)” season 1, as a mentor.
1. About the show
“Super Idol” gathers 25 talented Chinese and Korean boys to South Korea to participate in a two-year idol training program. The winning students would eventually be combined to form a group as singers and actors to debut in both China and South Korea.
Hua is not a regular cast member of “Super Idol” and only appeared as a guest mentor in EP10 on September 25, 2015.

- While watching the contestants’ performances, Hua had been playing with the car models provided by the sponsors. At the end of recording, all parts of the model that can be opened have been opened.
- Photos of Hua eating ice cream during other mentors’ review time were leaked by the staff.
